Join us for a private tour of the Chug-Chug geoglyphs in the Atacama Desert, northern Chile.
Chug-Chug Geoglyphs Private Tour
We will pick you up from your hotel in Calama and travel in a 4x4 towards the Chug-Chug geoglyphs. During this 1-hour drive, we will discuss the history of these drawings.
Upon arrival, we will observe the anthropomorphic drawings stamped into the mountains, visible from ancient caravan routes. Chug-Chug is notable for having the largest concentration of geoglyphs globally, ranking third after the Pintados in the Tarapaca region and the Nazca Lines in Peru, with over 500 geoglyphs.
After exploring this significant region of Atacama, we will return to Calama and drop you off at your hotel approximately 5 hours later.
