Colombia and coffee culture are historically linked. On our Calarcá Coffee Bike Tour, we'll discover the laborious process of cultivating one of the country's key products.

Calarcá Coffee Bike Tour

At 9 am, we'll meet outside the Church of San José in Calarcá and begin our 11-mile (18-kilometre) cycling route through the Colombian coffee region.

We'll cycle through natural landscapes and mountain trails, reaching a coffee plantation that allows us to immerse ourselves in the rural life of Calarcá.

During the tour, we'll explore coffee plants and discuss fascinating aspects of coffee production in Colombia, including what makes Colombian coffee renowned, its cultivation, and the time required for a plant to produce its first fruits.

Afterward, we'll stop at a restaurant for lunch, featuring options like cold meats, beans, or the traditional Colombian sancocho chicken dish. A cup of coffee will accompany our meal.

The tour will conclude at 1 pm as we return to the starting point.
