Colombia and coffee culture are historically linked. On our Calarcá Coffee Bike Tour, we'll discover the laborious process of cultivating one of the country's key products.

Calarcá Coffee Bike Tour

At 9 am, we'll meet outside the Church of San José in Calarcá and hop on our bikes. We'll set off on an 11-mile (18-kilometre) cycling route through the Colombian coffee region.

We'll cycle through natural landscapes and cross mountain trails until we reach a coffee plantation, offering a glimpse into the rural life surrounding Calarcá.

During our tour, we'll cycle among coffee plants and explain details behind coffee production in Colombia, including the fame of Colombian coffee, its cultivation, and the time it takes for a plant to bear its first fruits.

After the tour, we'll stop at a restaurant for lunch, including cold meats, beans, or the typical Colombian sancocho chicken dish, along with a cup of coffee.

Our tour will finish at 1 pm upon our arrival back at the starting point.
