Córdoba, Buenavista & Pijao Day Trip

At 9 am, we'll meet at Parque Principal de Calarcá. We'll climb into an all-terrain vehicle and head southbound for the Colombian coffee-growing axis.

From the jeep, we'll see numerous plantations including banana, avocado, citrus trees, and coffee.

After a 40-minute drive, we'll stop in Buenavista, famous for its viewpoint offering incredible views of the Cauca Valley. We'll enjoy a coffee and stroll around the historic centre, including the Plaza de Bolívar and the church.

Next, we will visit Córdoba, discussing its evolution since the early 20th century while enjoying another coffee.

Then we'll head to Pijao, known as the unhurried village, where we will explain the origin of its nickname as we walk through the streets.

For lunch, we'll enjoy a traditional Colombian sancocho (broth), sausages, beans, and a drink, either in Pijao or Córdoba, depending on the day.

After lunch, we will return to the vehicle and head back to the starting point, concluding the excursion.
