Explore the Quindío Department and visit three beautiful villages in the Colombian Coffee Triangle on our Córdoba, Buenavista & Pijao Day Trip. You'll see sprawling farmlands and immerse yourself in rural life around Calarcá.

Córdoba, Buenavista & Pijao Day Trip

At 9 am, we'll meet at Parque Principal de Calarcá. We'll board an all-terrain vehicle and head southbound to the Colombian coffee-growing axis, a renowned cultural and geographic area.

From the jeep, views of various plantations will be visible, including fields of banana, avocado, citrus trees, and coffee.

After a 40-minute drive, our first stop will be in Buenavista, a village known for its stunning viewpoints in the Cauca Valley. We'll visit the viewpoint, enjoy a coffee, and explore the historic centre, including the Plaza de Bolívar and the church.

Next, we'll visit Córdoba, a village surrounded by coffee-growing landscapes. We'll discuss its evolution since the early 20th century and have another coffee.

Then, we head to Pijao, known as the unhurried village. We'll explain the origin of this nickname during our stroll.

For lunch, a traditional Colombian sancocho (broth), sausages, beans, and a drink will be provided. Lunch will be in either Pijao or Córdoba, depending on the itinerary.

After lunch, we'll return to the vehicle and head back to the starting point, concluding the excursion.
