Join us on a captivating journey through the vibrant art scene of Callao, where we will wander through the city's historical heart, exploring its diverse art galleries and appreciating the stunning murals that adorn the streets. This experience offers an enriching perspective on the cultural essence of this significant port city.

Callao Art Tour

The adventure begins at 3 pm at Casa Fugaz, serving as our meeting point before setting off on an exploration of the monumental zone of Callao. This area, located near the iconic port of Callao, is infused with the rich tapestry of Peruvian art and culture waiting to be discovered.

Our initial stop will be in Plaza Matriz, where we will pause to admire the most notable murals that showcase the spirit of Callao's street art. Fascinatingly, this neighborhood boasts over 60 murals, each telling its own story!

As we continue our walk along Constitución Street, we will pass by the Matriz Church, taking in more vibrant street art created by talented urban artists including Entes and Chalacos.

The journey leads us through the Galvez Passage and Square, allowing us to explore its art galleries and the studios of local Peruvian artists. Following this, we will proceed through the La Salsa passage to marvel at additional urban art installations by creators such as Nyeth, Decertor, and Ilustronauta. Our tour will then bring us back to Casa Fugaz to view its second-floor art galleries.

After a brief intermission, we will delve into the inspiring workshops of local artists. Finally, we will ascend to the Callao Rooftop, where we can savor breathtaking views of key city landmarks, including the Real Felipe Convent, Grau Square, and the bustling port. The tour will conclude at around 4:30 pm, leaving you with lasting memories of Callao's artistic vibrancy.
