Harvard Walking Tour
At your selected time, we'll meet at the Harvard metro, located at 1376 Massachusetts Ave. Your tour guides, current students, will take you to the symbolic Johnson Gate, which is one of the campus entrances.
During the tour, we won't be able to go inside the buildings, but we will admire their beautiful façades and grounds.
We'll stop in front of the statue of John Harvard, the university's first benefactor. To feel like a student at this Ivy League university, you can touch the statue's foot for good luck.
Next, we'll visit the Memorial Hall, a Victorian building honoring Harvard students who fought during the American Civil War. The tour will then pass by the Widener Library, the largest on campus, which contains over three million books.
We will also admire the Memorial Church and the Harvard Lampoon headquarters, a student magazine first published in 1876, associated with notable writers and editors.
Finally, the tour concludes at the emblematic Winthrop Park after an hour and 10 minutes.
