Harvard Walking Tour

At your selected time, we'll meet at the Harvard metro, located at 1376 Massachusetts Ave. Your tour guides, current students, will take you to the symbolic Johnson Gate, one of the campus entrances.

During the tour, we won't be able to go inside the buildings of this iconic educational institution, but we will admire its façades and grounds.

We'll stop in front of the statue of John Harvard, the university's first benefactor. To feel like a student, you can carry out the tradition of touching the statue's foot for good luck.

Next, we'll visit the Memorial Hall, a Victorian building dedicated to Harvard students who fought during the American Civil War. The tour will then pass by the Widener Library, the largest on campus, which contains over three million books.

We'll also admire the Memorial Church and the Harvard Lampoon headquarters, a student magazine first published in 1876. Notable writers including John Updike and Conan O'Brien contributed to this publication.

The tour will conclude at the emblematic Winthrop Park after approximately one hour and ten minutes.
