Harvard Walking Tour

At your selected time, we'll meet at the Harvard metro, located at 1376 Massachusetts Ave. Tour guides, current students, will take you to the symbolic Johnson Gate, one of the campus entrances. This tour does not include entry into the buildings, but you'll admire the beautiful façades and grounds.

The tour includes a stop in front of the statue of John Harvard, the university's first benefactor, where you can participate in the tradition of touching the statue's foot for good luck. Notable figures, including Obama, Kennedy, and Roosevelt, have done so.

Next, we'll visit Memorial Hall, a Victorian building honoring Harvard students who fought during the American Civil War, and pass by Widener Library, the largest on campus, housing over three million books.

We'll also admire the Memorial Church and the Harvard Lampoon headquarters, a student magazine first published in 1876, which featured important writers and editors.

The tour concludes at the emblematic Winthrop Park after approximately one hour and ten minutes.
