Bute Inlet Grizzly Bear Tour
Participants will meet at Campbell River Harbour at the scheduled time, boarding a boat to explore the Orford River in search of grizzly bears, one of Canada’s most iconic animals.
The tour includes a visit to the Orford observation platform, followed by a journey on a minibus into the landscapes of British Columbia. Participants will spend three hours learning about the grizzly bears and their habitat in North America.
The Orford River Valley features a large colony of grizzly bears. Along with an expert guide, participants may witness the bears hunting salmon, bathing in the river, or caring for their cubs.
A lunch consisting of homemade sandwiches, granola bars, and beverages such as tea, coffee, hot chocolate, and water will be provided. The tour continues with a cruise in search of whales, orcas, sea lions, and dolphins.
After an eight-hour tour observing Canada’s wildlife, participants will return to the original departure point.
