Aguada Island Dolphin Watching

In this activity from Campeche, we will enjoy a boat ride to see dolphins near Aguada Island, located on the west coast of Yucatan.

Aguada Island Dolphin Watching

At 9 am, we will pick you up at the Ocean View Hotel in Campeche. From there, we will travel by road to the fishermen's pier next to the boardwalk of Aguada Island.

Upon arrival at the pier, we will embark on a boat ride along the coast of Aguada Island, where we will see bottlenose dolphins swimming. These dolphins can reach speeds of up to 6 knots (6.9 mph or 11 kph).

We will then navigate through the interior of Términos Lagoon and stop at Isla de los Pájaros (Bird Island), where you will have 2 hours to swim and relax. It is recommended to bring a picnic.

While on Bird Island, you can admire the diverse bird species native to this area. The ecosystem here supports numerous species, which we will help you identify.

Finally, we will return by boat to the pier of Aguada Island and travel back to San Francisco de Campeche, arriving by 5 pm.
