Champoton Tour

On this excursion to Champotón, you'll discover its monuments and beaches and find out why this city is the gastronomic capital of the state of Campeche!

Description

After picking you up at 8 am at the Ocean View Hotel in Campeche, we'll head south to Champotón. Our first stop will be at the San José Carpizo hacienda, an example of 19th-century architecture in the region. Next, we will visit downtown Champotón for a guided tour, where we will see the main square and the colonial-style church of Nuestra Señora de las Mercedes.

Champotón is known as the gastronomic capital of Campeche. After the city tour, you'll have an hour to enjoy lunch and explore local traditional dishes, with a focus on fish and seafood as well as options including beans and meat.

After lunch, we'll visit the Costa del Sol beach club, where you will have an hour of free time to relax on sun loungers and hammocks. Finally, we will return to the meeting point, arriving at 3 pm.
