We'll learn about the culture of the Mayans in this tour to Edzná and its typical haciendas located in the Yucatán.

Edzná Tour + Haciendas Visit

After picking you up at 8 am at your hotel in San Francisco de Campeche, we'll head over to Uayamón Hacienda for breakfast. Then, we'll drive to Edzná, an important Mayan site in the Yucatán peninsula.

Upon arrival at the archaeological site, we'll have a guided tour of Edzná, established around 600 BC. The city has remained intact for almost 1800 years, and we’ll explore its main remains, including the notable stepped temple of the Five Storeys.

Continuing our tour, we will visit the temple of the Casa Grande or Nohoch Ná and learn about the 'Ball Game', a significant pre-Columbian sport. We will discover its rules during this part of the tour.

After Edzná, we'll visit the Hobomó, Seyba, and San Luis Carpizo Haciendas. Here, we will experience rural life in this region, including its customs and the local Yucatecan folklore.

Following this, we will proceed to Champotón, where you will have free time for lunch if desired.

Finally, we will return to your hotel in Campeche, with an expected arrival time of 3 pm.
