At your chosen time, we will meet at the visitor centre of the Edzna archaeological site. The guided tour will focus on one of the most important Mayan cities in Mexico.

We will begin by learning about this ancient city from the Classic period, focusing on its technological advancements in hydraulic works. A visit to the stelae museum will include monolithic monuments and insights into the customs, traditions, and culture of this indigenous civilization.

Next, we will visit Edzna's key monuments, such as Casa Grande, the main courtyard, and the ball court, which is flanked by two significant structures. Additionally, an impressive stepped pyramid with five stories will be a highlight of the tour.

After an hour and a half of sightseeing, the guided tour of Edzna will conclude at the starting point.

This option includes a traditional lunch in the indigenous community of Uzahzil after the guided tour of Edzna, enabling you to enjoy local delicacies.

Uzahzil is a 20-minute walk away, or you may drive if you prefer. The tour with lunch lasts approximately two hours, and upon arrival, you will be welcomed by community members.
