On this tour through the region of Los Chenes, we will explore significant Mayan heritage at its archaeological sites.

We will pick you up at 7 am at your hotel in San Francisco de Campeche and depart for Los Chenes, named for the numerous pre-Columbian wells known as ch'e'en in the Mayan language.

The first stop will be at the Hochob archaeological site, where we will observe the remains of ancient Mayan palaces and notable cultural aspects. You will see preserved stone stelae featuring various deities and identifying signs of this civilization.

After the guided tour of Hochob, we will proceed to the Dzibilnocac archaeological site, where remnants of the ancient Mayan city, including impressive stone temples and pyramidal bases, are still visible.

Next, we will travel to the town of Hopelchén and take a break at La Capilla restaurant, where you can enjoy a traditional lunch featuring options like chicken, beef, or barbecued products.

After lunch, we will visit the village of Ich-Ek to explore the surviving Mayan traditions. Finally, we will return to your hotel in Campeche, arriving at 3 pm.
