Chichén Itzá & Ek Balam Day Trip

Having picked you up from your hotel at the designated time, we'll head to the inland part of the Yucatán Peninsula to visit Chichén Itzá.

Upon arrival, we'll see the Temple of Kukulcán, a UNESCO site. The itinerary includes visits to the Great Ball Court, the Venus Temple, and the Temple of the Warriors. At the observatory, we'll learn how the Itzaes used celestial events in decision-making.

Next, we'll go to the Hubiku Cenote, a 200-foot (60-metre) deep well for swimming. A Yucatecan lunch will be served, and you may visit the tequila museum located here.

Our journey continues to the Mayan city of Ek Balam, dating back to 300 BC. We will explore its Entrance Arch, ceremonial center, Oval Palace, and Ballcourt. Key historical features, including the tomb of Ukit Kan Le'k Tok', will be highlighted.

After 12 hours of culture and history, we will return to the starting point and say our goodbyes.
