Experience a day at the beach surrounded by the rich natural beauty of Isla Holbox, a stunning Caribbean island renowned for its diverse birdlife and unique environment.
Day Trip to Isla Holbox
Your adventure begins with a hotel pickup in Cancún at the scheduled time, leading us to Chiquilá port. There, we will board a small boat for our short journey to Holbox Island, situated at the northern end of the Yucatán Peninsula.
Upon reaching the western shore of the island, we will stop first at a breathtaking beach, granting you 45 minutes of leisure time to bask in the sun and take in your surroundings.
Next, we will set off for Isla Pasión, a pristine island known for its unspoiled beaches and abundant bird species. Here, you'll have time to wander and unwind under the palapa at the viewpoint, which offers panoramic views of the island.
Following this, we will continue to Punta Mosquito, a secluded beach that stretches over 30 kilometers (18 miles) and is only accessible by boat. From March to October, this location is a cherished habitat for pink flamingos migrating toward South America.
Depending on the day's availability, we will either dine at a local beachfront restaurant or enjoy our meal aboard the boat. Regardless of the venue, a delicious traditional dish from the area awaits you. After refueling, you will have between 1.5 and 2 hours to relax on the beach or explore the nearby village of Holbox, which is just a short walk away.
As the day winds down, we will make our way back to Chiquilá port by boat and commence our return journey to your hotel, completing our time together approximately 12 to 13 hours after the initial pickup.
Possible Itinerary Adjustments
Please be aware that the itinerary order might change. Due to weather conditions or other logistical factors, it is possible that Punta Mosquito will not be included in the visit. Instead, we may explore Isla Pájaros or the Yalahau cenote.
Flamingo Watching
While encounters with pink flamingos are common from March to October, please note that these are wild creatures that roam freely, and sightings cannot be guaranteed.
