Enjoy a beach day surrounded by nature on Isla Holbox, a Caribbean island with a unique environment and numerous bird species.

Isla Holbox Day Trip

After pickup from your hotel in Cancún in the morning, we’ll travel to Chiquilá port and take a small boat to Isla Holbox. Upon arrival, we'll stop at a beach for 45 minutes of free time for relaxation or exploration. Next, we’ll visit Isla Pasión, where you have free time to explore and enjoy the viewpoints.

We will then proceed to Punta Mosquito, which features a 30 kilometer-long (18.6 mi) pristine beach accessible only by boat. Between March and October, this area hosts pink flamingos. Following this, we will have lunch at a local restaurant, and you will have 1 hour and 30 minutes of free time to enjoy the beach or visit Holbox town. At the end of the day, we will return to Chiquilá port and then back to your hotel, arriving 10 to 12 hours later.

Monday and Thursday Tours

On Monday or Thursday, the tour will be modified to use a speedboat, skipping the first swimming stop and proceeding directly to Isla Pasión for breakfast and an hour of free time. We will briefly visit Punta Mosquito and then head to the town of Holbox for 3 hours of free time. Afterward, we’ll enjoy an hour at the Yalahu cenote, making the total activity approximately 8 hours.

Itinerary Changes

Please note that the order of the itinerary may vary. On days other than Monday or Thursday, depending on weather conditions, Punta Mosquito may be replaced with Isla Pájaros or Yalahau cenote.

Flamingo Sightings

While pink flamingos are typically seen from March to October, sightings cannot be guaranteed as they are wild animals.
