Description
When making your reservation, you can choose between two snorkeling locations at the MUSA (Museo Subacuático del Arte) in Cancun. Both options meet at Kukulcan Boulevard and include boat transportation to the snorkeling area, English-speaking instructors, and snorkeling equipment. Below are the options:
MUSA & Punta Nizuc Snorkeling Tour (3 hours)
We'll hop on a boat to cross the Nichupte lagoon until we reach a marine platform at Punta Nizuc. There, snorkeling equipment will be provided for you to dive into the water and explore the reefs teeming with lobsters, barracudas, groupers, and manta rays. You will see up to 16 sculptures from the underwater gallery, such as La Jardinera de la Esperanza and La Última Cena, and observe the corals that have developed around these art pieces.
This tour departs every day of the week at 11 am, 1 pm, and 3 pm.
MUSA & Manchones Reef Snorkeling Tour (4.5 hours)
This option takes you to Manchones Reef, near Isla Mujeres. Upon arrival, you will don your snorkel gear to admire turtles, sponges, starfish, sea cucumbers, and over 35 species of scleractinian corals. You will also swim around famous sculptures from the Underwater Museum of Art, such as The Silent Evolution, Burning Man, and The Promise.
This tour is available on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays at 8 am.
