Go snorkelling with whale sharks and enjoy a delicious lunch on the waters of Playa Norte in the Mexican Caribbean.

Activity Details

Following your hotel pickup in Cancun, we will travel to the Riviera Maya, where a breakfast of coffee, fruit juice, pastries, and fresh fruit will be provided. After boarding our boat, we will set sail on the Caribbean waters.

During the boat trip, the guide will explain the habits and characteristics of the whale sharks. Snorkelling equipment will be distributed, allowing you to dive and swim alongside these large fish species. There will be free time to enjoy the sea and interact with the sharks.

Afterward, sandwiches and drinks will be served on the boat, followed by a visit to a beautiful coral reef for additional snorkelling. We will then sail to Playa Norte, renowned as the best beach on Isla Mujeres, where a delicious lunch featuring ceviche and fresh fruit will be provided. Vegetarian options are available upon request. Following lunch, we will return to the mainland and drop you at your Cancun hotel.

Whale Shark Sighting

Whale shark sightings are most likely from July to September; however, factors like weather and breeding seasons can affect sightings.

A maximum of 2 jumps per person from the boat is allowed.If there are 5 sharks or fewer and over 5 speedboats, jumps are not permitted, and observation will be from the boat.If swimming with sharks is not possible for reasons beyond the provider's control, no refund will be given, but a new date can be rescheduled.Snorkelling will proceed only if conditions permit, considering safety and visibility.
