Visit the ancient walled city of Tulum, built by the Maya people, and discover the underground river of Rio Secreto on this full-day trip.

Day Trip Details

After hotel pickup in Cancún, we will head to Tulum to appreciate the Caribbean from the Mayan archaeological site. This walled city showcases cultural heritage from the pre-Hispanic period, including "The Castle," which served as a lighthouse for boats along the coast, and the Tulum Grand Palace, an important building. You will also visit the Temple of the Frescoes, which has murals revealing life in the Mayan age, and the Tulum astronomical observatory used for stellar studies.

After exploring Tulum, we will proceed to the natural grottoes of Rio Secreto, an underground river that reveals impressive stalactites and stalagmites. Following this, a buffet lunch with drinks will be provided to replenish energy. Finally, you will be dropped off at your hotel in Cancún around 5 pm.
