Tour Details

Founded in 1948 by a Frenchman, the Jolimont Winery in Canela, in the Serra Gaúcha, was one of the first wineries in Rio Grande do Sul. The tour begins at the entrance of the winery, discussing its international award-winning production, history, and winemaking processes. Participants will learn how grapes are cultivated, fermented, and stored, as well as how the mountainous topography contributes to a prime terroir for grape growing. The tour includes a tasting of 7 Jolimont wines and provides a personalised glass of wine for each participant. The experience concludes with a 1-hour guided tour of the Jolimont facilities.
