Lush, green scenery and incredible biodiversity await in the Ponga Natural Park in Asturias. We'll discover the beauty of this part of northern Spain on our day trip from Cangas de Onís.

At the scheduled time, we'll meet in front of the Chapel of Santa Cruz in Cangas de Onís. From there, we'll set off for the Ponga Natural Park in the central-eastern sector of the Cantabrian Mountains.

Upon arrival at this protected area, declared a Biosphere Reserve, we will look for different kinds of wolves and deer. With favorable weather, we may also spot a European brown bear in its natural habitat.

We'll continue our tour by heading to the village of Casielles or Viboli, depending on the weather. Both villages are located in the foothills of the mountains. Next, we will visit the Les Bedules Viewpoint for views of the Ponga River and the Picos de Europa.

The next stop will be in the village of Sobrefoz, where we will walk through its narrow streets. You will then have 1 hour of free time to have lunch in this mountain village.

After lunch, we will proceed to Sellaño, another village in the Asturian mountains. Finally, we will return to the meeting point in Cangas de Onís and drop you off 6.5 hours after pickup.
