Montecrestese Hiking + Wine Tasting Tour

At 8:20 am we'll meet at the Collegiate Church of San Vittore. We'll board a bus and leave Cannobio for Montecrestese, a journey of about 1 hour.

Upon arrival, we'll embark on a 3 hour 30 minute trekking route, connecting with the tranquillity of nature surrounding Montecrestese.

During the hike, we will admire the Ossola Valley and the banks of the River Toce, as well as visit megalithic sites that reveal their historical significance as places of worship, burial grounds, and ancient villages.

After the hike and viewing the exteriors of small rural churches, we will reach a wine cellar for a wine tasting. This will include 3 glasses of local reds and whites, accompanied by local cheeses, sausages, and bread.

Following the tasting, we will return to the bus, concluding the activity at 5 pm back at the starting point.
