Heavenly beaches, breathtaking underwater life, and turquoise waters are the highlights of this excursion to Whitsunday Island. We'll travel to this National Park to relax, admire its beauty, and snorkel.
Whitsunday Island Excursion + Snorkeling
We'll pick you up from your hotel in Airlie Beach and board a boat to the largest of the Whitsunday Islands. Prepare to explore one of the most beautiful beaches in the world.
Upon arrival at Whitsunday Island, we will visit Whitehaven Beach, a 7-kilometer (4 miles) sandy bay, iconic to the archipelago. You'll have two hours to swim, relax on the beach, or enjoy a picnic lunch, which will be paid on the day of the activity.
Next, a short hike will lead us to the Hill Inlet viewpoint, where you can admire the island's vegetation and observe how beaches change with tides and winds.
We will then return to the boat for snorkeling. Depending on the day and weather, we'll take you to a different location to safely explore the underwater world. Border or Dumbell Islands or the area around Whitsunday itself are good options.
You can swim among colorful coral reefs, observing the fish and turtles. Your guide will provide insights to help you identify many species during the dives.
The excursion concludes at 4:30 pm, after we drop you off at the starting point.
