Explore a true paradise by sea & air by taking a plane ride over the Whitsunday Islands. After enjoying the incredible landscapes from a bird's eye view we'll snorkel in the turquoise waters of this stunning archipelago.

Whitsunday Islands Plane Ride + Snorkeling

At your preferred time, we will pick you up at your hotel in Airlie Beach and proceed to the Whitsunday Airport. We will then depart to explore the natural paradise from above.

During the one-hour flight, we will fly over the Whitsunday Island archipelago and the Great Barrier Reef. After landing, we will switch to a boat to visit Whitsunday Island, the largest island of the national park. Here, you will have one to two hours of free time to swim and sunbathe at Whitehaven Beach, one of the world's most beautiful beaches.

Feel free to bring food or purchase a picnic lunch on the day of the activity. A hiking route to the Hill Inlet viewpoint will also be part of the tour, offering stunning views of the island and its waters. We will then take you to one or two snorkeling spots, depending on the weather, which may include Whitsunday Island, Hook Island, Border Island, or Dumbell Island.

The entire experience lasts seven and a half hours, concluding at Coral Sea Marina.

Snorkeling

Depending on your chosen option, there are variations in the tour. With the single stop for snorkeling, you will have more time to relax at Whitehaven Beach. Conversely, the two stops option allows you to explore more underwater life but offers one hour less at the beach.

Hotel Pickup

This tour includes hotel pickup from hotels in Airlie Beach. If you are staying elsewhere, please meet at the Whitsunday Airport on the day of the activity. Pickup times are as follows:

Plane ride + 1 stop for snorkeling: pickups from 6:10 am to 6:30 am.Plane ride + 2 stops for snorkeling: pickups from 7:25 am to 7:45 am.
