Tour Details

At the time indicated, we'll kick off our guided tour at the Basilica Paleocristiana dell’Annunziata, where an archaeologist will guide you to the key sites within the Paestum Archaeological Park.

The ruins in Paestum have preserved the legacy of the city of Magna Graecia. We'll start our tour by visiting the temples of Neptune and Hera, known for their Dorian columns.

Next, we'll explore the amphitheatre and the Temple of Athens, which features Dorian architecture. While admiring the columns, you'll learn about the myths and legends associated with this sacred place.

We will also visit the Paestum Archaeological Museum to view artifacts from the Ancient Greek city, notably the swimmer's tomb.

After a 2 hour guided tour, we'll conclude, but you'll have the opportunity to continue exploring the archaeological museum if desired.
