On this day trip to Carbonera, Matanzas, Boca de Camarioca, and Santa Marta, we'll explore villages, mangroves, and cenotes, and sample Cuban rums.

Day Trip Details

After picking you up at the specified time at your hotel in Varadero, we'll travel to Coral Beach, the first stop of the day.

Upon arrival, snorkeling equipment can be hired to enjoy the waters of Coral Beach. We will then proceed to Matanzas to explore its historic centre, viewing colonial houses, the Cathedral of San Carlos Borromeo, Sauto Theatre, and various museums.

Next, we will visit the cenote of Saturn Cave, where you can swim and relax for an hour in the crystalline waters. Following this, we'll head to Boca de Camarioca to enjoy the beaches and learn to make a Cuban mojito.

We'll pass by La Conchita and Plaza Oasis beaches before reaching Santa Marta. Here, we will take a bike taxi to a local restaurant for a traditional lunch with a typical Cuban cocktail.

After lunch, we will have a guided tour of Santa Marta to explore the historic centre and the lively village market. We will then visit Casa Naranja to taste four Cuban rums, coffee, chocolate, and tobacco, followed by a visit to El Resplandor, an agroecological farm for seasonal fruit tasting.

Finally, we will stop at Playa Las Américas, one of the best beaches in Varadero, and return to your hotel after 9 hours.
