Tobacco, Rum and Sugar Tour

On this tour, we'll discover the rich history of sugar, rum, and tobacco in Cuba, offering a chance to experience the country's three traditional products.

Cuban Products Tour

After hotel pickup at the indicated time, we will visit the Azúcar y el Vapor "José Smith Comas" Museum, where we will witness a demonstration of hand-cutting sugar cane. We will explore the plantation's installations and learn about the sugar production process, followed by a tasting of sugar cane juice "guarapo".

Next, we will board a steam train from the early 20th century to Cárdenes station. Our following stop is the Ron Arrechavala Factory, known for producing Havana Club Rum, where we will learn about the distillation and ageing processes.

After visiting the museum, we will enjoy lunch at a restaurant with fresh ingredients. A panoramic tour around Varadero will allow us to admire the countryside and main attractions before visiting Casa del Ron, where we will learn about the rum fabrication process and sample various rums and creamy liquors.

The tour will continue at Las Morlas Square to discuss the importance of Cuban tobacco, with the opportunity to observe or make your own cigars. We will also provide free time for souvenirs and local atmosphere before concluding the tour with a drop-off at your Varadero accommodation after 10 hours of activity.
