Varadero Private Day Trips

When making your booking, you'll be able to choose from the different day trips below. They each last 9 hours and include pickup from your hotel in Varadero and drop off at the end of the activity. Your driver-guide will pick you up at 8 am.

Matanzas & Bellamar Caves Day Trip

This trip includes a visit to the 300,000-year-old Bellamar Caves to explore stalactites and stalagmites. We will then proceed to Matanzas, the "City of Bridges", where you will see the Monserrate Hermitage, Sauto Theatre, and Cathedral of San Carlos Borromeo. The Castle of San Severino can also be admired from the outside.

Havana & Tobacco Factory Day Trip

This trip includes a 2.5-hour journey to Havana, stopping at the viewpoint of Bacunayagua. You will visit a tobacco factory to learn about the process of making Havana cigars and explore a shop focusing on rum. A sightseeing tour will feature the Presidential Palace, Revolution Square, the University, and the Capitol Building, along with a visit to Old Havana to see the Cathedral and Plaza de Armas.

Playa Larga & Playa Girón Day Trip

This trip involves a 2.5-hour journey to the Bay of Pigs, with a stop at Boca de Guamá to visit a crocodile farm or take a boat ride on the Tesoro Lagoon. The rest of the day is free for leisure at Playa Larga and Playa Girón.

Cienfuegos & Trinidad Day Trip

Pickup for this trip is at 6:30 am for a 3-hour trip to Cienfuegos, known for its French-style buildings. A tour of Trinidad will include a visit to the Plaza Mayor, Convent of San Francisco de Asís, and the arts and crafts market.
