On this excursion to Viñales from Varadero, explore the lush vegetation of the Viñales Valley and discover the tobacco plantations where the famous Havana cigars are produced.
Viñales Excursion
Pickup will be at your hotel at the scheduled time, followed by a drive to the Viñales Valley, located in the west of Cuba, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
After approximately 5 hours of travel, the tour of the tobacco plantations of Viñales begins, as it is the largest tobacco producer on the island.
You will have free time for lunch. Following this, observe the traditional method of rolling leaves to create famous Cuban cigars.
Next, visit the Mural of Prehistory, one of the largest open-air frescoes in the world, for photo opportunities. Before returning to Varadero, a stop at Los Jazmines viewpoint, known as "the balcony of Viñales", will provide a unique view of the valley, ideal for photos.
After this 13-hour experience, you will be dropped off back at your hotel.
