Terminos Lagoon Kayak Tour

Are you looking for activities in Isla Aguada? This kayak tour will take us to explore the area's mangroves while engaging in some exercise. Bird watching for native species of the Términos Lagoon will also be included.

Tour Highlights

At your selected time, we'll meet at the dock on Marina Boulevard, where we will provide the kayaks. We will begin by boarding the boats, and after a few tips on paddling, we'll set off on our aquatic route through streams flowing into the Laguna de Términos. This area is home to various species of mangroves, including red, piloncillo, and black mangroves, along with fascinating facts.

Following our exploration of the mangrove area, we will visit the Isla de los Pájaros, a protected natural area that serves as an important nesting site for birds. With some luck, we may spot herons, pelicans, cormorants, and more species. Please stay alert!

After two or two and a half hours of paddling, depending on the group's pace, we will conclude the kayak tour back at the departure dock.
