Terminos Lagoon Kayak Tour

Are you looking for activities in Isla Aguada? This kayak tour will take us to explore the area's mangroves while getting some exercise. We'll also engage in bird watching to see the native species of the Términos Lagoon.

Tour Highlights

At your selected time, we'll meet at the dock on Marina Boulevard, where kayaks will be ready. We'll board the boats after providing tips on proper paddling technique and then begin the aquatic route, entering one of the streams flowing into the Laguna de Términos. During this leg, we will observe various types of mangroves, including red, piloncillo, and black mangroves, while sharing interesting facts.

After exploring the mangroves, we will proceed to the Isla de los Pájaros, a protected natural area known for its significance as a nesting site for birds. With some luck, we may spot herons, pelicans, cormorants, and other species. Stay alert!

The kayak tour will conclude after approximately two to two and a half hours of paddling, depending on the group's pace, returning to the departure dock.
