Terminos Lagoon Kayak Tour

Are you looking for activities in Isla Aguada? This kayak tour will take us to explore the area's mangroves while getting some exercise and engaging in bird watching to see native species in the Términos Lagoon.

Tour Highlights

At your selected time, we'll meet at the dock on Marina Boulevard, where we will be ready with the kayaks. We will board the boats and provide tips on paddling. Then, we will set off on this aquatic route, entering one of the streams flowing into the Laguna de Términos. Here, we will see various mangroves, including red, piloncillo, and black mangroves, with informative insights provided along the way.

After exploring the mangrove area, we will head to the Isla de los Pájaros, a protected natural area known for its significance as a nesting site for birds. We may spot herons, pelicans, cormorants, and other species. Be attentive!

After two or two and a half hours of paddling, depending on the group's pace, we'll conclude the kayak tour back at the departure dock.
