Terminos Lagoon Kayak Tour

Are you looking for activities in Isla Aguada? This kayak tour will take us to explore the area's mangroves while engaging in exercise. We will also do some bird watching to observe native species of the Términos Lagoon.

Tour Highlights

At your selected time, we will meet at the dock on Marina Boulevard, where kayaks will be prepared for you. We will board the boats and provide tips on paddling before we set off on this aquatic route, entering one of the streams flowing into the Laguna de Términos. In this area, you will see various types of mangroves, including red, piloncillo, and black mangroves, while learning numerous interesting facts.

After exploring the mangrove area, we will proceed to the Isla de los Pájaros, a protected natural area known for being an important nesting site for birds. With some luck, we may spot herons, pelicans, cormorants, and other species. Stay alert!

After two to two and a half hours of paddling, depending on the group’s pace, we will conclude the kayak tour back at the departure dock.
