Carmona Church & Alcazar Tour
We'll meet at 11 am in the Plaza Blas Infante square, next to the Puerta de Sevilla. The tour begins with an exploration of the defensive complex dating back to the Carthaginian period.
We'll visit the Alcazar of the Puerta de Sevilla, a Moorish fortress. From the Tower of Gold, we will have views of the city. A stop at the Patio de los Aljibes will allow us to see a medieval cistern used for supplying water to the Alcazar's residents.
The tour will proceed to the Iglesia de Santa María, a gothic-renaissance church built over the ruins of the city's old Great Mosque.
The tour concludes after two hours of exploring Carmona's cultural heritage.
