Cartagena Roman Theatre Museum Ticket

Immerse yourself in Carthago Nova's Roman past with a visit to the Roman Theatre Museum. Explore archaeological pieces from the Roman Theatre of Cartagena, including the Riquelme Palace and the church of Santa Maria. Start your journey at the Pascual Riquelme Palace, where you'll learn about the history of the theater's discovery. Discover emblematic objects like jewelry, statues, vessels, and aras dedicated to the Capitoline Triad. Explore the tunnel under the medieval church leading to the Roman Theatre of Cartagena, one of Spain's largest. Witness the stage front, orchestra, and cavea where the citizens of Carthago Nova sat according to social class.

This theatre, with a capacity for 7000 people, was in use until the 2nd century. Thanks to archaeological excavations and Rafael Moneo's design, you can now experience Cartagena's glorious era.
