What to expect from the experience?
Meet at 9:30 am at the fishing dock of La Azohía. Before kayaking, basic safety rules for the boats will be explained. After the briefing, you'll paddle along the coast, departing from civilization.
From the sea, view the Torre Santa Elena, a historical fortification built under the direction of the Catholic Kings as a defense against invasions.
Arrive at Cala Cerrada, a protected area in the Cabo Tiñoso Marine Reserve, known for its diverse native flora and fauna. The remarkable Neptune grass is one of the notable aquatic plants found here.
Use the snorkeling equipment to explore the seabed or take a swim in Cala Cerrada's waters. The tour concludes with a return to La Azohía by 1 pm.
