Kayaking and Snorkeling in Cala Cerrada

Enjoy a morning kayaking through the Cabo Tiñoso Marine Reserve. Explore Cala Cerrada, discover underwater life by snorkeling, and relax in the waters.

What to expect from the experience?

We will meet at 9:30 am at the fishing dock of La Azohía. Prior to kayaking, basic safety rules will be explained.

After the briefing, we will paddle along the coast, away from civilization.

From the sea, we will view the Torre Santa Elena, a fortification built by the Catholic Kings for defense against invasions.

We will arrive at Cala Cerrada, a protected area in the Cabo Tiñoso Marine Reserve, home to diverse native flora and fauna, including the notable Neptune grass.

You can use the snorkeling equipment to explore the seabed or swim in Cala Cerrada.

After the activity, we will return to La Azohía, concluding the tour at 1 pm.

If the weather is bad

The itinerary may be modified depending on sea conditions. Professionals will provide alternatives in adverse weather.

Who can take part in the activity?

The maximum age for participation is 55 years old.Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult in the same kayak.You must be able to swim to participate in this activity.
