Tour Options

When booking, you can choose between 4 different options. Each lasts between 7 and 11 hours, including return transport to the Muelle de La Bodeguita de Cartagena and lunch with a choice of 3 protein options. Details of each option are below:

Playa Tranquila + Admission to Freedom Beach Club

This option includes pickup from the meeting point and transport to Barú Island by bus or boat. You will receive admission to Freedom Beach Club, a welcome cocktail, and enjoy swimming, sunbathing, and music. Lunch includes a full meal with protein, coconut rice, salad, and patacones, followed by return to Cartagena.

Playa Tranquila + Oceanarium

This option includes a welcome cocktail at Freedom Beach Club, followed by a 20-minute boat ride to the Oceanarium. You will spend about 2 hours exploring marine species, and after returning to the club, enjoy lunch and another 2 hours at the beach before returning to Cartagena.

Playa Tranquila + Plankton

Enjoy the morning on the island with access to loungers at Freedom Beach Club. After lunch, you will take a speedboat ride to experience the bioluminescence of plankton at sunset and can swim before returning to Cartagena.

Playa Tranquila + Snorkelling + Plankton

This option includes a welcome cocktail and a tour of the mangroves, followed by snorkelling in the beach area. Lunch will be served at the club, and you will experience the bioluminescent lagoon and can swim with plankton before returning to Cartagena.

Playa Tranquila + Snorkelling + Mangroves

This includes a welcome cocktail at Freedom Beach Club, a boat tour of the mangroves, and snorkelling in clear waters. Enjoy a delicious lunch and free time for relaxation before returning to Cartagena.

How to Get to Playa Tranquila

Choose between transport by bus or speedboat from Cartagena de Indias, noting that bus passengers will transfer to a boat for a short ride to Playa Tranquila. Meeting points and schedules are as follows:
