Kayaking in Punta Arena

We will gather at Castillo Grande beach at the scheduled time, where we’ll provide essential instructions on kayak maneuvering. Once you are familiar with the basics and don the necessary safety gear, we’ll set off onto the open water!

Departing from Castillo Grande, we will navigate a scenic 4-mile (6.5km) path along the captivating shoreline of Cartagena de Indias as we explore the waters of the Colombian Caribbean.

Gradually, our destination will come into view: Tierra Bomba Island. Approaching Punta Arena, one of the stunning white sand beaches, we’ll take in the breathtaking island scenery. From our kayaks, we can marvel at a panoramic vista of Cartagena de Indias, offering a unique perspective of the city!

After an hour of paddling, we will land at Punta Arena, where a snack awaits to replenish our energy. The snack will consist of juice, fresh fruit, and a bottle of water.

You will have around 45 minutes of leisure time on Tierra Bomba Island. Feel free to continue exploring the area by kayak or simply unwind and savor the beach before we begin our return journey to Castillo Grande beach.

After a fulfilling 3.5 hours of kayaking, we’ll conclude the experience and bid farewell at our initial meeting point.
