Rosario Islands Day Trip

On this day trip from Cartagena de Indias, we'll explore the Rosario Islands and their marine biodiversity.

Day Trip Details

Pickup will be at your hotel in Cartagena de Indias or the agreed meeting point. We will proceed to the marina to board a boat for our journey across the bay of Las Animas to the Rosario Islands.

We will make a brief stop to view the exterior of the fortress of San Fernando in Bocachica before reaching Isla Grande, where you can enjoy free time to snorkel.

Next, we will disembark at Cholon Island for one hour of free time. The following stop is at Blanca Beach on the Baru peninsula, where you will have another hour to swim and enjoy lunch.

The menu includes specialties like fried mojarra, grilled chicken, rice, salad, and beverages.

After 8 hours, we will conclude the trip at the Marina Todo Mar dock in Bocagrande.

Tour without Cholón Island

You can choose the tour without Cholón Island during booking, based on availability. After Isla Grande, we will visit a beach club for lunch. Following 1.5 hours, you can opt for Isla Isabela or the Aquarium of the Rosario Islands, spending 2 hours at one site before returning. The tour duration will be 7 to 7.5 hours.

Important: Admission to the Aquarium is not included; payment in cash is required on the day.

The meeting point varies by tour option:

Tour with Isla Cholón by Boat: departs from Marina Todomar.Tour with Isla Cholón by Speedboat: includes hotel pickup in Bocagrande, Castillo Grande, and El Laguito; other areas meet at Marina Todomar.Tour without Isla Cholón: departs from La Bodeguita Pier – Gate 1.

The ending location for both tours will be Todomar Marina.
