On this day trip to Santa Marta and Barranquilla from Cartagena de Indias, we will explore two of Colombia's significant cities.

Day Trip Details

We will pick you up from your hotel in Cartagena de Indias at the specified time to begin our trip, which includes approximately a 3-hour drive to our first destination.

First, we will visit Barranquilla, known as the "Golden Gate of Colombia". During our visit, we will explore key attractions, including the Window to the World monument, the river boardwalk, the Barranquilla letters, and the Pumarejo Bridge.

Next, we will head to Santa Marta, referred to as the "Pearl of America". A guided tour will showcase historic sites, including the white cathedral, the oldest in South America, along with stories surrounding it and a notable individual buried there.

We will also visit the Parque de los Novios, where we will learn about the statue of Simón Bolívar and view the Gold Museum.

Our Santa Marta tour will include a stop at El Rodadero Beach and a meal featuring traditional Colombian cuisine at a local restaurant.
