Scuba Diving in Baru

If you're already a certified scuba diver and currently in Baru, prepare for a diving experience off the coast of the island. Dive into the vibrant marine flora and fauna of this Colombian Caribbean paradise.

Description

Meet at the Afrocorales Beach Club at the designated time. A boat will take us to explore the hidden underwater paradise beneath the crystal-clear Caribbean waters.

The first stop will be a large coral reef barrier for a review of safety measures before the initial dive. Dive for approximately half an hour to explore the rich marine life of Baru's island, including parrotfish, trumpetfish, barracudas, and turtles.

Next, we will visit a shipwreck area to observe the remains of several sunken boats. The second dive will reveal how different marine species inhabit these wrecks.

After the dives, we will return to the starting point. The total duration of the activity is between two and a half to three hours, providing unforgettable memories of this underwater paradise.

Certified divers

Please bring your international diving certification. Non-certified divers will not participate in the second dive but can view the shipwreck from the surface.
