Take this tour to the ancient imperial city of Meknes, and the impressive Roman ruins of Volubilis.

Meknes and Volubilis Private Trip

We will collect you from your accommodation or the arranged meeting point in Casablanca, then head to the Middle Atlas mountain range. Our destination is Meknes, located approximately 200 kilometers away, with an estimated travel time of two and a half hours.

Upon arrival, we will explore Meknes, starting with a walk around the colorful market filled with traditional products. You may try local haggling.

Next, we will visit the gateway of Bab Mansour, the largest in the country and northern Africa. You will also see the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail, the sultan who made Meknes the capital from 1672 until his death in 1721.

You will have your own free time to take lunch at a local restaurant to experience the regional cuisine. After lunch, we will return to our private vehicle to continue the trip.

We will then discover the Roman city of Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1997. Founded by the Carthaginians in the 3rd century BC, it was largely destroyed by an earthquake in 1755. You will tour the ancient ruins and admire the well-preserved mosaics.

At the end of the tour, we will return to Casablanca and drop you off at the initial meeting point.
