Day 1: Arrival in Casablanca
Upon your arrival, our team will greet you at Casablanca airport and escort you to the hotel for the first overnight stay of this 8-day adventure. Once checked in, if your flight arrives early, take the opportunity to commence your exploration of this vibrant city.
Day 2: Casablanca - Rabat - Volubilis - Fez
Following a satisfying breakfast, we'll explore the most significant landmark in Casablanca: Hassan II Mosque. Its impressive scale is sure to leave you in awe!
Next, we'll journey to Rabat, the capital and imperial city of Morocco. Here, we will tour the Mechouar citadel, the Kasbah of the Oudayas, and the Mausoleum of Mohammed V and Hassan II.
Afterward, we will proceed to Meknes, where highlights include the Medina and its bastions, the Jewish quarter, and visit the ruins of Volubilis, acclaimed as the best-preserved Roman site in North Africa.
Concluding the day, we will arrive in Fez and check into your hotel or riad, ready for tomorrow's adventures!
Day 3: Discovering Fez
The third day is dedicated to exploring Fez, acknowledged as the oldest imperial city in Morocco, established in the 8th century by Moulay Idriss II. Our itinerary includes sights such as the Medina, Medersas Attarine, the Ennajarine fountain, the Mausoleum of Moulay Idriss, the renowned Karawiyin Mosque, and the contemporary Medina in Fez Jdid.
In the afternoon, you'll have leisure time at the hotel until the following day's activities.
Day 4: Journey from Fez to Merzouga
Leaving Fez, we will traverse the Middle Atlas Mountains, enveloped by sprawling cedar forests. These trees were historically significant for boat construction, showcasing their importance.
We arrive first at Ifran, a town with Swiss architectural influences, then pass through the Amazigh village of Azrou. Our path will lead us through the stunning Ziz Valley and its gorges, ultimately reaching Erfoud.
Continuing onwards, we will reach the serene Merzouga desert to experience a camel trek across the towering dunes. The sunset over this vast landscape promises to be truly remarkable!
Tonight, we will spend the night at a haima camp.
Day 5: Merzouga - Exploring Todra Gorges - Ouarzazate
Start early as we awaken to witness the glorious sunrise above the dunes of the Merzouga desert. After breakfast, we will depart from Merzouga towards the Todra Gorges, passing through charming ancient Amazigh villages.
Later, we'll head to Ouarzazate for the night, having journeyed through the picturesque Dades and Roses valley.
Day 6: Ouarzazate - Ait Ben Haddou - Marrakech
On our sixth day, we will venture from Ouarzazate to the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a stunning Amazigh structure over 800 years old.
During our visit, we'll admire the ancient caravan routes leading to Marrakech and the breathtaking views of the distant High Atlas Mountains. Be ready with your cameras!
Continuing toward Marrakech, we'll pass through various villages including Amerzgan, Agouim, and Ighrem, and navigate the Tizi N'Tichka pass.
Your journey concludes for the day at your hotel in Marrakech, where you can unwind until the next day.
Day 7: Marrakech
Following breakfast, we'll set out to explore the captivating city of Marrakech, famously known as the pearl of southern Morocco. Our tour includes visits to the Bahia and El Badi palaces, the Saadid tombs, and the Koutoubia Mosque, culminating in a vibrant stroll through Jemaa el-Fnaa square, a highlight of the city life.
Post-lunch, you will have free time to further discover the city at your leisure.
The day will conclude back at the riad.
Day 8: Departure from Marrakech
On the final day, we’ll take you to Marrakech airport for your departure after an enriching 8-day journey across Morocco. Until next time!

Both hotel accommodations and desert camps feature only double rooms; singles are currently unavailable. For larger groups, options for triple or family rooms exist. Standard category rooms have communal bathroom facilities in the camp, while luxury accommodations provide private bathrooms and showers. An additional fee of 30 EUR per person applies for air-conditioning in luxury haimas.
