Fátima, Óbidos, Nazaré & Batalha Day Trip

On this day trip to Fátima, Óbidos, Nazaré and Batalha, we will visit four historic cities in Portugal.

Tour Details

Pickup from your hotel will occur at the scheduled time to start the tour of significant religious and historic sites in Portugal.

The first stop will be the Sanctuary of Fátima, a neobaroque structure known as the most important pilgrimage center in the country and a major Marian church worldwide.

Following free time for lunch at a local restaurant, the tour will proceed to the site of the Battle of Aljubarrota to visit the Monastery of Batalha, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that exemplifies the transition from Gothic to Manueline architectural styles.

The journey continues to Nazaré, a fishing village recognized for its water sports, particularly surfing, due to its significant waves.

The final destination will be Óbidos, a walled city featuring cobbled streets and a medieval castle. It is recommended to sample the local ginjinha d'Óbidos, a sweet liqueur served in a small glass.

The tour will conclude after 11 hours, returning you to your hotel.
