On this day trip to Fátima, Óbidos, Nazaré , and Batalha, we'll visit 4 cities with significant historical and monumental heritage in Portugal.
Tour Details
We will pick you up from your hotel at the scheduled time to explore some of the most devout and historic places in Portugal.
The first stop will be the Sanctuary of Fátima, a neo-baroque-style building known as the most important pilgrimage center in the country.
After free time for lunch at a local restaurant, we’ll proceed to the site of the Battle of Aljubarrota to visit the Monastery of Batalha, recognized for its Gothic and Manueline architectural styles and designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Next, we'll continue to Nazaré, a fishing village popular among water sports enthusiasts, particularly surfers, due to its huge waves.
Finally, we will visit Óbidos, a walled city with cobbled streets, traditional houses, and a medieval castle. Remember to try the ginjinha d'Óbidos, a local sweet liqueur.
After 11 hours of touring these Portuguese highlights, we will return to your hotel.
