Tour of Cascais, Cabo da Roca & Boca do Inferno

This tour starts at the train station in Cascais at 10 am, where participants will board a minibus and head to the first stop: the Santuario da Peninha, an 18th-century chapel and early 20th-century palace, located on a hill with views of the coast and the Sintra-Cascais Natural Park.

The next stop is Cabo da Roca, the most western point in mainland Europe, featuring cliffs 459 feet (140 meters) above the ocean. Here, there will be time for photos by the lighthouse, the third oldest in Portugal, before proceeding to the Cresmina Dune for coffee and photo opportunities.

As the tour continues, participants will enjoy views of Praia do Guincho beach, popular among surfers. The penultimate stop will be Boca do Inferno, located 5 minutes from the center of Cascais, known for its cliffside cave where locals believe the sound of the underworld can be heard.

The tour concludes with a visit to the historical centre of Cascais, where guides will lead an hour-long tour of notable streets and buildings. The tour will end at the train station at around 3 pm.
