On this excursion to Las Aldas and La Gramita beach, we'll explore an important archaeological site on the Peruvian coast and a beautiful bay.

Las Aldas & La Gramita Beach Excursion

Pickup will be at 2 pm from your hotel in Casma, followed by a drive to Las Aldas, a significant archaeological complex.

Upon arrival, a guided tour of Las Aldas will provide insights into the site's history, with origins dated between 1925 and 1410 B.C., during the Late Archaic and Formative periods. You will observe remnants of this ancient civilization.

During the tour, the three functions of this complex as a ceremonial, administrative and scientific center will be explained, including the management of marine resources and the rites conducted at its ancient astronomical observatory, strategically positioned for stargazing.

After exploring Las Aldas, the trip continues to the nearby beach of La Gramita, where visitors can enjoy the scenery of a fishing cove. There will be an opportunity to sample delicious seafood and fresh fish dishes made with local ingredients.

Finally, the return to your hotel in Casma is expected between 5 and 5:30 pm.
