Puerto Casma, Comandante Noel & Playa Tortugas Tour

At 9 am, we'll depart from your hotel in Casma towards Puerto Casma, located 10 minutes from the city.

Upon arrival at this town on the Peruvian coast, we will explore its historical significance as a strategic port during the Spanish colonial era, which experienced pirate raids in the early 17th century.

Puerto Casma was also significant in the 19th century, particularly during the tragedy of the frigate Mercedes. The tour includes the story of marine commander Juan Noel Lastra, known for his heroic actions.

After exploring Puerto Casma, we will visit the Comandante Noel viewpoint to learn more about this sailor and enjoy panoramic views of the area.

The next stop will be Playa Tortugas, where we'll visit a picturesque fishermen's cove. Fishermen in the area catch octopus, squid, and snails, and the bay is rich in marine resources. During the tour, we will also discuss local culinary traditions, especially fresh fish dishes.

Finally, we will return to your hotel in Casma, arriving around 1 pm.
