In this paddle boarding activity in Cassis, participants will explore the waters of southern France to discover the famous Calanques.

Description

We'll meet at the designated time at Tennis and Paddle Club Presqu'île , where paddle-boarding equipment will be provided before commencing on the waters of Cassis.

This town in Provence, near Marseille, is ideal for exploring the calanques in the southeast of France. Calanques are narrow, steep-walled inlets with turquoise waters characteristic of this section of the western Mediterranean.

The activity begins with paddle boarding through the Calanque of Port-Miou, which derives its name from the Latin "Portus Melhor," meaning 'better port' due to its optimal location.

Next, we'll visit the Calanque of Port-Pin to explore its beach. After this stop, we'll paddle board to the Calanque d'En-Vau, known for its rich seabed life.

The paddle boarding activity lasts 3.5 hours and will conclude back at the meeting point.
