Papal Palace & Secret Garden Ticket

At the indicated time, you'll be able to enter the Castel Gandolfo Palace in Piazza della Libertà. Visit the Pope's historic summer residence!

The complex ceased to be a residence by the decision of Pope Francis, who ordered to turn these pontifical villas into a museum. The ticket includes access to the Secret Garden and the Papal Palace, where you'll visit different rooms, such as the throne room, the hall of the Swiss guard, the astronomical observatory, and the gallery of Benedict XIV. You'll also see the balcony from where the Popes prayed the Angelus every Sunday in summer. The visit lasts one hour without a guide or an audio guide.

Castel Gandolfo Pontifical Villas Tour

This option includes a vehicle ride through the extensive gardens of the papal villas, which measure 55 hectares (135 acres). You'll admire the remains of the Roman villa of Emperor Domitian with historical facts provided by the audio guide in English. Stops will be made at significant sites such as the Villa Barberini, the Garden of the Moor, and the Villa Cybo. The visit will take approximately one hour before returning to the starting point.
