On this tour to Zingaro Nature Reserve, you will explore this area of Sicily with coastal walks and idyllic coves.

Description

At the scheduled time, you'll be picked up from your chosen meeting point to travel to the Zingaro Nature Reserve, the first in Sicily. The reserve is located between the towns of Scopello and San Vito Lo Capo. Upon arrival, there will be a stop to buy food and drink before exploring the area. Maps with routes will be distributed along with advice to enhance your visit.

You will have 4 hours free to explore Zingaro Nature Reserve. It is recommended to explore the main coastal route which is 7 km (4.4 miles) long. After a 20-minute walk through a tunnel, you will reach Cala Capreria, where you can relax and swim in the crystal-clear water.

Nearby beaches include Tonnarella dell’Uzzo, Marinella, Berretta, and Disa. It is advisable to bring snorkeling equipment to view the seabed. The reserve also features a forest of centenary holm oaks and an abandoned town.

Finally, you'll return to the meeting point in Alcamo or Castellamare del Golfo, concluding a 5-hour day.
