Delta del Ebro Boat Tour & Day Excursion

Our meeting point is set for 2:30 pm at the Tourist Office of Castellón de la Plana, conveniently located near the beach. From this point, we will embark on a one and a half hour drive to the picturesque Delta del Ebro, where you will experience the unique features of this region while cruising on a catamaran.

Upon arrival at the natural park, we will board the vessel and initiate a 50-minute excursion around Buda Island. Throughout this journey, we will explore key geographical features of the reserve. Did you know that the wetland waters are teeming with crustaceans? These are integral to many traditional dishes of the region. You will discover insights about the island’s history and the significance of its name.

Our voyage will then proceed through the rice paddies, where you’ll gain insight into the workings of these ancestral farming practices. Keep an eye out for various bird species, including flamingos, herons, and seagulls.

Following the boat ride, we will disembark and take a short visit to the Ecomuseum, which will enhance your understanding of the vital conservation efforts within the Delta del Ebro.

We will conclude our experience by returning to Castellón de la Plana, arriving around 8:30 pm.
