Maestrazgo Mining Park & Culla Tour

Meet in front of the Castellón Tourist Office at 9:10 am to board a minibus to Upper Maestrazgo, home to the Maestrazgo Mining Park.

Experience a mining train ride to the Victoria Mine. Equipped with safety helmets, explore the underground cavity while learning about historical mining techniques and the minerals extracted. Discover the conditions and tools used by miners through various displays.

Afterward, we will return to the train and travel to the Esperanza Mine, where we will explore the natural cave conditions, geological phenomena, and centuries-old stalactites.

Next, a minibus will take us to Culla, a town with medieval and Templar significance. Explore its connection to the Order of the Temple as we pass the 11th-century castle, the Commander's granary, and the old hospital.

We will return to Castellón de la Plana, with an expected arrival time of around 1:50 pm.
