Traiguera & Cervera del Maestre Day Trip

We will meet outside the Castellón de la Plana Tourist Office in Plaza de la Hierba. After gathering, we'll board a bus to Traiguera.

In Traiguera, we will visit a farm with thousand-year-old olive trees, including the award-winning monumental olive tree. The tour includes an olive oil tasting with typical cold meats.

Next, we will head to Cervera del Maestre to explore traditions linked to olive groves at the Oil Mill Visitor Centre, which dates back to the Medieval period.

We will continue with a tour of Cervera del Maestre, walking through cobbled streets and viewing the medieval castle from which we can see stunning vistas of the Maestrazgo region.

The tour will conclude back in Traiguera at the Royal Sanctuary Virgen Fuente de la Salud, an Asset of Cultural Interest from the 14th century, featuring Gothic, Renaissance, and Baroque elements, including the old pilgrim's hospice and frescoes.

The day trip will end between 2:30 pm and 3 pm at the starting point.
