Valencia + Bioparc Excursion

On this excursion to Valencia from Castellón de la Plana, you'll visit one of Spain's largest cities and enjoy the variety of flora and fauna at its famous Bioparc.

Valencia + Bioparc Excursion

At 9:30 am, we'll meet at the Tourist Office in Castellón. From there, we'll travel an hour by bus to Valencia, the capital of Levante and one of the largest cities in Spain.

For the first hour of the excursion, we'll go on a sightseeing tour of Valencia, discovering its Baroque, Gothic, and modernist influences, as well as its important historical heritage. Onboard the bus, you'll also see the City of Arts and Sciences, a masterpiece by architect Santiago Calatrava that symbolizes Valencia.

Our next stop will be the Bioparc zoo, a unique space where animals, vegetation, and the landscape coexist harmoniously. The barriers separating animals from the public are hidden, providing a totally immersive nature experience.

In Bioparc Valencia, you'll see families of gorillas, buffaloes, and cheetahs, feeling as if you're in the African savannah with antelope, giraffes, rhinos, and lions. The rainforest area features elephants, lemurs, flamingos, and many other exotic species, alongside a wide variety of plants and trees.

After several hours at Bioparc, we'll return to the bus and head back to Castellón de la Plana, arriving at 6:45 pm.
