Explore one of the most beautiful villages in Spain and discover its main monuments on this day trip to Villafamés from Castellón de la Plana.

Villafamés Day Trip

At the designated time, we'll meet outside the Castellón de la Plana Tourist Office to start the trip. We will travel for 30 minutes onboard a minibus to Villafamés.

Upon arrival, we'll begin a guided tour of the historic center of the village, which has been declared a Site of Cultural Interest. The strategic location at the top of a hill has marked its history.

During the tour, we'll admire the façade of the church of La Asunción, the characteristic stone houses, and the castle dating back to the times of Muslim rule.

Next, we'll visit the Roca Grossa, a large mass of stone where you can make three wishes, although legend says only one will be granted. Learn about this natural monument during the tour.

The last stop will be at the Museum of Contemporary Art of Villafamés, located in the Batlle Palace. The exhibition rooms feature numerous works of art covering various artistic trends from the 1920s to the present.

We'll conclude the tour back in Castellón after a total of 5 hours.
