Explore one of the beautiful villages in Spain and discover its main monuments on this day trip to Villafamés from Castellón de la Plana.

Villafamés Day Trip

At the designated time, we will meet outside the Castellón de la Plana Tourist Office to start the trip. For 30 minutes, we will travel onboard a minibus to the town of Villafamés.

Upon arrival, we will set off on a guided tour of the historic center of the village, declared a Site of Cultural Interest. We will learn about its strategic location at the top of a hill and its historical significance.

During the tour, we will admire the façade of the church of La Asunción, the stone houses characteristic of this town, and the castle dating back to the times of Muslim rule.

Next, we will visit the Roca Grossa, a large stone mass where you can make three wishes, although, according to legend, only one will be granted. We will share more about this natural monument during the tour.

The last stop will be the Museum of Contemporary Art of Villafamés, located in the Batlle Palace, showcasing numerous works of art from the 1920s to the present.

We will conclude the tour back in Castellón after a total of 5 hours.
