Mount Etna Tour

On this tour to Mount Etna from Taormina, we will discover the features of one of Europe's most famous volcanoes. The tour includes visits to two of its craters and observation of local fauna and flora.

Description

At the indicated time, we will pick you up from the meeting point in Taormina and head by minibus to Etna National Park. This area is notable in Sicily.

During the trip, a historical, geological, and volcanological overview of Mount Etna will be provided, as well as information on various types of vegetation, including citrus orchards, vineyards, chestnut groves, and pine forests.

After approximately an hour and a half drive, we will arrive at an altitude of 1,900 meters (6,233 feet). You will have 2.5 hours to explore the surroundings at your own pace.

If you wish to ascend further, you can book an additional tour to reach the maximum altitude of 2,750 meters (9,022 feet) during your free time.

We will conclude the tour by returning you to the meeting point after 6 hours.
